To make sure it works perfect you should delete your old versions of Amiga SWOS before installing the new version. All shortcuts and start menu as well es program folders. What is P2P?
It's a direct connection between two PCs, without using a server. One player is the host, the other one client. Advantage: Less delay and better pings. [Click here for tutorial...]
How does that work?
First of all switch to "P2P client" in the startup menu. Then click on "Play Amiga SWOS". Then you'll see the good old Winuae window. Launch kaillera as usual. Then click on "Change mode" and switch to "1. P2P". If you're the host then mark "SWOS @ SensibleSoccer.de v1.02" and click the button. Your opponent connects to your IP which you should give him before. You can ask for your own IP with the button "whatsmyip". The client uses "Connect" instead of "host". There he just enters the IP from his opponent. After both players have ticked "click here when ready" the game will start.
Attention:
To use the P2P-client you have to forward the port 27886! Inside the router's menu as well as in your windows firewall, in case it doesn't work.
Here is a chance to see the some of the SWOS skills from the Danish Amiga players in Aalborg/Randers. This goal compilation is from our various tournaments and offline sessions.
The Donatus Cup has been played in the little Eifel-village Frohnrath for the first time. 17 SWOS-Fans participated in this fantastic event. AndYpsilon won the title after 5-1 and 0-2 in the final matches against Paider. In the match for the third place three matches have been necessary to find a winner. After a 2-1-victory and a 0-1-defeat versus Schulle, Wänä81 was able to win the replay 3-1 and thus came in third.
The number of guest players was notable: In addition to three dutch players and the Salzgitter/ Hannover-connection the Rhein Main Kick Offer ThorN and FrankF (as reigning German Kick-Off champion!) played their very first SWOS-tournament.
Last weekend 6 Offlinemaniacs played 3 cups in Salzgitter.
The Amiga-tournament and the Challenge-cup goes the 2nd time to ElMichaJ. Bomb lost in the final 1-4. The match for place 3 won Wänä with 2-1 vs. Schulle.
The PC-tournament won Bomb with 5-1 vs. Schulle and the match for place 3 won ElMichaJ after extra-time vs. Wänä 2-1.
Subsequent to the main-event a Classic Sensi tournament was played. Schulle was filled with enthusiasm.
ElMichaJ won the tournament, Schulle on 2nd and Bomb on 3rd place!
There was a new Berlin Locals Round in Berlin at ElMichaJs place at the 25th of March. Five players fought for three nice little Cups. After five hours of playing Wänä could decide to final for his victory. Schulle was in 2nd place and Bomb was 3rd. It was a funny event and Offline Rulez !
On saturday the 13th of march, Klaris hosted his first AMIGA SWOS tournament in his new home in Randers.
The tournament was played on an overall high level, with some surprises in both group and KO stage. But at the end of the day it was Lindholm, with an impressive performance and no defeats, who could lift the trohy for the first place. Runner up was djowGer, and 3rd place was the 5th seeded player MadsHilde with a great run in the desicive games of the KO.
